Jaz is the coach for both our level 2 and 3 cheer squads, Eclipse and blackout, again this year after a successful 2022-23 season. He is a Durham University/divas alumnus and studied law at hild bede college from 2015-18. Jaz is now a full-time lawyer and Has cheered as an athlete for seventeen years and this will be his 10th season coaching!!

 

he's competed at all levels - including winning National Championships three times in a row with his Junior Coed 3 squad. he has competed at four World Championships in Florida, achieving 10th place in 2019.

 

Jaz is currently a coach at Derwent valley allstars. He led both a level 1 and 2 team to summit in Florida, with his level 1 team placing 11th in the world in 2022! in 2022, Jaz also earned his fourth world championship bid with his international open small co-ed level 5 team, dva reign. He went to worlds as reign's coach in april 2023 where they placed 15th in the world! DVA Reign will be competing worlds again in 2024.
