3rd Place at Future Cheer Internationals 2014

The Varsity squad competed at the Future Cheer Internationals in Bournemouth today, winning an amazing third place! We secured a free bid to the International competition when we won Grand Champions at Disneyland Paris earlier this year. This is Europe's largest cheerleading competition with over 5000 athletes competing and it was great to have the opportunity to compete at this competition as we have never competed previously due to it not falling in term time. The weather was beautiful so we even managed to a few hours catching some rays on the beach, as well as stunting of course. It was sad to say goodbye to some of our most dedicated and skilful team mates as they graduate from Durham or go off on their year abroad. Our performance definitely made us even more excited to start the 2014-15 cheer season next year.
