Divas End of Year Meal and Awards

Our annual End of Year meal was held on Friday evening at The Library – a celebration of one of the most successful years in Divas history! Both squads voted for a number of awards, including the ‘Biggest Diva,’ ‘Spirit Award,’ the ‘Loudest Diva,’ ‘Nerves of Steel,’ ‘Drunken Diva,’ ‘Best Facials’ and the Diva with the ‘Sassiest Moves.’ Following this the Captain’s awards were given. Congratulations to the following people:

• Will and Briana - Best Newcomers

• Sally and Rosie H - Most Improved

• Rachel and Olivia - Most Dedicated

• Beth W – Best Gymnast

• Emily F – Hardest Worker

• Harry and Bea – Cheerleaders of the year

Special recognition was then given to those who will sadly be leaving the Divas this year, thanking them for their commitment and hard work over the years.

A massive thank you must go to both execs for the effort they have put in over the last year, particularly captains Amy, Rozie and Tabs who have led the Divas Level 3 squad to a number of awards at several competitions this year and to Gen and Alicia who took our Level 2 Co-Ed squad to their first competition, where they brought home 2nd place! Following an incredibly successful year it only seems right to wish our new captains good luck – we can’t wait to see what next year has in store for the Divas!
